In this exercise, we were to create a stencil design for a saying of our choice. We then spray painted said saying onto pieces of paper to create designs to be shown on the windows for people to see. We also outlines the stencil lettering onto paper as well to create a complete new design from the same words.
The typeface I decided to use for this exercise was Bodoni because I liked how it looked classy/formal and gave it a french feel, given the saying is french for "That's Life". I chose this saying because growing up, my mom always used it and it became a life motto in a way so I was excited to be able to incorporate it into this project.
